Clifton High School (CHS) is a public high school located in Clifton, Texas and is part of the Clifton Independent School District located in southern Bosque County, Texas. Clifton High School is classified as a class 2A school in Texas' University Interscholastic League (UIL).

In the latest Texas Education Agency accountability rating (2010), CHS was rated "exemplary," the highest award possible in the TEA accountability system.[1]
In 2010, CHS students passed the TAKS at rates above that of the state average in all subjects, having 100% passing rates in Grade 11 Social Studies and Grade 11 English Language Arts.[2]
CHS offers extensive dual credit (dual enrollment) course opportunities. Dual credit courses are college courses which provide both high school and college credit. At CHS, these courses are typically offered from UT Arlington or Hill College.
The Clifton Cubs participate in: Golf, Cross Country, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Powerlifting, Track, Tennis, Softball & Baseball.[3] The CHS athletic program is currently under the leadership of athletic director and head football coach, Brandon Brown.[4] The school's teams compete in state championship series tournaments sponsored by the UIL.

Clifton is home to the "Award Winning" Clifton High School Band. The band is currently under the direction of Keith Zuehlke, Bryan Bronstad, and Jeff White.
